Ester Taka Namutebi
A survivor and fierce advocate, Ester leads our mission with an unmatched passion and personal understanding of the challenges our children face. Her journey from the streets of Kampala to founding Tine on the Mountain is a testament to the power of resilience — and to the belief that every child deserves a second chance.
She is the heart and soul of our organization. Her vision drives everything we do.

Co-Founder & Programs Director
Christine LubegaWith years of experience in child welfare and community development, our Program Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of Second Chance Home and our vocational training programs. She ensures every child receives the care, support and opportunities needed to thrive.
Music Director
Mirembe TranellaA passionate advocate for learning, our Education Coordinator works closely with local schools to ensure every child in our care has access to quality education. She provides academic support, mentorship and encouragement to help our children succeed in the classroom and beyond. She also organizes trips for the choir.
